A Fellow Bus Driver, I Really Must Wave!

※ Download: Why do bus drivers wave at each other

Ifboth are on the same side of a string, for example, the two bumpson the string will form a bump 2x as big before the two wavesseperate and keep going. We might just see some other Wrangler drivers out there, in which case you know what to do…. I have to say that in the 2 weeks of owning my WRX that every ricer in the world wants to rev their engines at me, but the WRX owners and brz owner are much more low key, they will roll down their window and compliment the car, or just wave. I was just wondering if WRX owners wave to each other, or if I wave to another subie, are they going to think I some kinda loon?

Occasionally we will do a small quick rev, but nothing like the Hondas and Hyundais they seem to be the worst about it I feel the ones buying WRX's even the one guy in his early 20's with the hatchback WRX just act more mature and friendly going by on the road. And come on, its back to front!

A Fellow Bus Driver, I Really Must Wave! - Hi You are gorgeously free to do or not do what you please and I respect that.

Surely only drivers from the same company do this, and in most towns and cities there's only one public bus operator. In that respect, it's no different to giving a friendly wave or nod to someone you know but can't speak to. Even allowing for the fact that I'm sure drivers flit between both companies, I've never seen any wave pass between them. A bus driver has quite a solitary job. He only sees workmates while passing them along the road. It's really no different to waving at a workmate if you drive past them. And is no different to the way that caravan owners wave to each other just for being in a caravan or mobile home. It's a shame really that some people have to be snide about a perfectly harmless way of being social. A bus driver has quite a solitary job. He only sees workmates while passing them along the road. They do it on the buses around here oo err. But not on the busy routes like buses every 5 - 6 minutes as I suppose it gets to be a bit annoying. I remember a few times they pull up next to each other on a quiet road to say hi or talk about something quickly. Also I've seen a few wave to the rival companys but not often. Is it just me or every week or so there is a thread on here to do with buses? I've rarely met one that wasn't a miserable git. I got on a bus with a £10 note last Monday and the driver looked at me like I'd slept with his wife. It's not a ridiculous amount of money, not like a £20 note, now that would be taking the piss but £10? Especially when the fare was £3. I could go on and on about awful bus drivers but you always get people who take offence - but they are providing a service and should do so with atleast a minimum level of friendly service. Not taking out their frustrations of a job they clearly despise on the people paying through the nose to pay for their rather generous wages.

I assumed this was because to them, they just had a mini-van. Anyhoo, so here we are, two buses, one usable lane. Alright, so as simply put as possible, the Jeep wave is a tradition wherein Jeep Wrangler drivers, upon encountering another Jeep Wrangler driver anywhere on the road or off road. Those brief, almost compulsory exchanges of affection. Sell the sizzle, not the … steak. I also wave back at anyone who waves at me, including Evos. Also a super crazy BRZ that is just amazing looking and sounding. So to initiate this, they obviously do this little wave thing. That said, I used to wave to Eurovans, too, but they rarely waved back. But it is your call.
